Drawing inspiration from the early photography collection at the V&A and the exhibition ‘Energy: Sparks from the Collection‘, the activities featured in this workshop took the participants on a journey through historical photographic processes, reactivating the spirit of experimentation that marked the early days of photography.
Throughout the workshop, participants had the chance to experiment with early optical devices and image-making processes such as pinhole cameras, lumen printing and photographic collages.
This workshop took place as part of the Half-term family programme held at Victoria and Albert Museum in London in May 2024.
