A publication exploring the language of real-estate marketing imagery through a series of 35mm slide film photographs of construction site fences. These photographs are presented in dialogue with a text by artist and writer Yassine Rachidi.

Developed in the context of ‘Building Buildings’, a research project exploring the politics of urban planning in Casablanca, the book critically examines how construction sites and their imagery shape discourses and narratives around urban development.
 

The project was developed as part of the ‘Homebound Residency Program 2023‘, a program supported by 421 Arts Campus, Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi.
